I’m Ayomide Akintimehin, a freelance software engineer based in Berlin, helping founders and businesses build fast, user-friendly web experiences.
I began my journey in Lagos, Nigeria, over 5 years ago, building web applications for a healthTech startup. That experience shaped my belief in clean code, thoughtful design, and the value of building for people, and not just screens.
Early on, I learned how to translate product ideas into real software. I worked hand-in-hand with product managers and designers, bridging the gap between vision and execution. That collaboration taught me how essential clear communication is to building great products.
Since then, I’ve worked with startups, growing businesses, and independent founders—building fast, responsive, and reliable web apps tailored to their needs. Whether it’s a marketing website, internal dashboard, or customer-facing platform, I approach each project with a focus on clarity, performance, and user experience.
I’m also the founder of heyFinance, a personal finance app that helps people budget smarter, manage savings and debt, and make better money decisions. Building it from scratch has deepened my perspective not just as an engineer, but as a product owner.
