I'm Ayomide Akintimehin, a Founder & Software Engineer based in Berlin. I am currently building heyFinance and collaborating with teams to craft modern, user-friendly SaaS products.
I began my journey in Lagos, Nigeria, over 6 years ago, building web applications for a healthTech startup. That experience shaped my belief in clean code, thoughtful design, and building for people.
Early on, I learned how to translate product ideas into real software, working closely with product managers and designers to bridge the gap between vision and execution. That collaboration taught me how essential clear communication is to building great products.
Over the past 6 years, I've worked across SaaS and FinTech, building dashboards, and customer-facing platforms for startups and growing businesses. I approach each project with a focus on clarity, performance, and user experience.
I'm also the founder of heyFinance, a finance management platform that helps individuals, couples, and small businesses manage money with clarity and confidence. Building it from scratch has deepened my perspective, not just as an engineer, but as a product owner who is learning and understanding what it takes to ship and grow a real product.
Today, I bring a mix of technical depth and product thinking to every project. While I'm bootstrapping heyFinance, I'm also available for short-term freelance or contract work with teams building modern SaaS applications. I care about the user, the code, and the impact.
