About the project

heyFinance is a financial management platform helping young couples manage their money more intentionally by tracking budgets, savings, and debts in one place.

What was needed

As the founder, I started building heyFinance to help young couples align on money, as finance topics are a leading cause of stress in a relationship and divorce. So, what was needed was to build a complete solution to make this possible—where they could be on the same page, while understanding their financial wellbeing as a couple easily, and on one platform.

My contributions

  • Ideated, designed, and built the entire platform from scratch
  • Implemented budgeting, savings, and debt tracking features
  • Built a clean user experience to make money management less intimidating
  • Collected and applied user feedback to improve the app continuously

Results and outcomes

  • Helped users manage their monthly budgets more intentionally
  • Enabled financial progress tracking across multiple accounts
  • Provided early adopters with insights into spending and saving habits

Building something like this?
