heyFinance is designed to help young couples be on the same page about money, and take control of their finances without feeling overwhelmed.
It allows them set budgets, track spending, track their financial goals, and keep an eye on their savings, investments, and debts — all in one place.
The goal was to build a website, that made this simple, clear, and easily understandable for young couples, while ensuring a great user experience, and high performance.

About the project
heyFinance is a financial management platform helping young couples manage their money more intentionally by tracking budgets, savings, and debts in one place. This was the website to communicate the product offering clearly to potential customers.
What was needed
As the founder, I started building heyFinance to help young couples align on money, as finance topics are a leading cause of stress in a relationship and divorce. So, what was needed was to build a website that communicates the product offering clearly, while ensuring a great user experience, and high performance.
My contributions
- Completely designed, and built the entire website from scratch
- Iterated the design based on user feedback to improve clarity and usability
- Ensured fast load times and mobile-first performance
- Built a clear value proposition that resonates with the target audience
Results and outcomes
- Over 90+ users have signed up
- Ensured a fast, responsive, and mobile-friendly website experience with 100%, 94%, 100% and 100% scores on Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO respectively on Lighthouse audits
